GPS Monitoring for Defendants

We have the newest technology in electronic monitoring-GPS wrist watches! They’re perfect for the spring weather so you can wear shorts without the embarrassment of a big, heavy monitor on your ankle. These new GPS wrist monitors are tamper-proof, water-resistant, and the size of a large watch. They cost $13 per day while our standard GPS ankle monitors are only $11 per day. Electronic monitoring is for anyone ordered to a curfew, home confinement, furlough, or offered a pre-trial release. GPS monitoring provides an excellent opportunity that allows defendants to attend treatment and continue working to pay fines, restitution, and child support. This service is available statewide, and outside of Salt Lake, Tooele, Summit, Davis, and Utah counties, an additional mileage fee is charged.

FREE Shield App for Victims of Stalking & DV

If a domestic violence perpetrator or stalker is wearing our GPS Wrist Monitor, their victim has access to use the Shield App for free! It provides the victim with real-time notifications and has a floating buffer zone so the victim can move around freely while the defendant is alerted to leave the area. Please note, it does not allow the victim to track the defendant. We will also geo-fence where the victim lives and works, where the children attend school, and any other places they frequent so they may have greater peace of mind in the situation.

Private Probation & Pre-Trial Supervision

Real experience matters when you’re facing criminal charges. Trust us to create your personalized probation plan to complete your court requirements in the quickest amount of time. With our proven record of successful closures and early terminations, we’ll assist you in navigating the court process and fulfilling your pre-trial or probation requirements. We will accommodate your schedule, including evenings and weekends. You’ll even have the option of a certified therapy dog in your appointment on Wednesdays, Fridays, and most evenings. Private probation and pre-trial services are only $40 per month. Depending on the situation and charges, we offer services nationwide.

Oral Swab Drug Testing

Enjoy keeping your pants on with our highly accurate, extremely budget-friendly forensic-grade drug testing via saliva. We offer a tamper-proof, 12-panel drug test. With our handy oral fluid testing, you’ll have results in less than 10 minutes without the embarrassment. Additionally, if you’re on probation or in drug court in another jurisdiction, we’re available for drug testing while you’re in the Salt Lake area, even including evening, weekend, and holiday testing.

Road Rage Elimination

This new 10-week course is the first of its kind and was created in response to the ongoing crisis of road rage incidents in Utah. It is designed to help defendants understand and manage their emotions while driving, ultimately reducing this problem. Through a combination of discussions, activities, and practical techniques, participants will develop healthier driving habits and therefore improve public safety.

Women’s Power Hour

Join us each week in a supportive and welcoming environment designed specifically for women. Our sessions will focus on understanding and overcoming challenges such as co-dependency, learning effective communication skills, enhancing money management, and building healthy relationships. This group is open to all women seeking personal growth-just reach out to us for the link if you can’t attend in person.

Appropriate Sexual Boundaries

This four-hour class is designed for defendants with charges related to minor sex offenses. Understanding consent, communication, and appropriate sexual boundaries are essential for today’s world. This class focuses on defining what these physical, emotional, and digital boundaries are, why they matter, and how to establish and maintain them. We will schedule a private class for you to attend either in person or via Zoom.

Anger Management

This 12-week course is designed to help you understand and manage your anger in a constructive way. We take a separate mind-body approach to calming each one, with the ultimate goal of bringing you to a place of Zen. Whether you’re dealing with outbursts of frustration or feeling overwhelmed by emotions, our course will provide you with the tools and techniques needed to navigate these feelings more effectively.

SMART Recovery Group

Our weekly SMART (Self Management and Recovery Training) group is a mutual support program for individuals seeking help with addiction and substance use. Our group is open to everyone and provides a supportive and welcoming environment. SMART Recovery is based on scientifically grounded principles, emphasizing self-empowerment and personal responsibility.

Theft Prevention

This four-hour class is designed to help you understand the implications of theft and provide you with valuable insights to make better choices in the future. We will explore several topics, including the gravity of theft and its victims, developing problem-solving skills, recognizing triggers, and how to enhance decision making.

Thinking Errors

This 6-week course is designed to help identify and correct common cognitive distortions that can impact behavior and decision-making. Understanding these thinking errors is crucial for personal development and achieving a more positive outlook on life. We will apply strategies to challenge and change these unhelpful thought patterns.

Re-Entry Group

Join our weekly Re-Entry Group for additional support and guidance as you transition back into the community. Topics include a wide variety of issues such as obtaining identification, building a resume and interviewing skills, applying for services, continuing education, and acquiring housing. This group is open to anyone and is tailored each week to the needs of the participants.

Emotional Regulation

This 6-week course is designed to help individuals understand and manage their emotions more effectively. Participants will learn practical strategies to identify emotional triggers, respond to challenging situations, and build resilience. We will also work on coping strategies, self-control, and enhancing communication skills.
